What should I expect?
We’re a local San Diego Highland cattle breeder of more than 10 years, and we opened a very small, cozy, affordable, fall-themed neighborhood pumpkin spot where you can touch and pet our Highland cows and miniature donkeys and enjoy our photo ops. Personal photo ops with the Highlands depend on the temperature, the crowds, and our staff. We are not a mega pumpkin patch, and we don’t aspire to be! We look forward to seeing you!

When is the pumpkin patch open?
We’re open September 26 through November 1, 2026. You can visit us Thursday through Saturday from 1 to 5 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM.
How much does it cost to visit?
Admission is $10 for ages 12 and up, and $5 for ages 3 through 11. Kids under 3 are free.
What is included with the admission price?
Every paid child’s admission comes with a free mini pumpkin. Everyone gets to see and pet our Highland cows and miniature donkeys and browse our “Moo-tique” full of Highland-themed merchandise. More locally grown pumpkins are for sale too. Bring the kids for a beautiful farm-friendly day in East County!
Can I take photos and videos?
Yes please! We’ll have several fall-themed backdrops for you to capture your fun-filled afternoon. We encourage personal photos and videos, but because of our size we can’t accommodate professional photography sessions during our normal operating hours.
Am I able to bring my dog or other furry loved one with me?
We are definitely big animal lovers here at Outlander. For the safety of our animals and yours, dogs and pets (including emotional support and service animals) are not permitted.

Come pick a pumpkin, then meet the herd. Our Highlands are the reason people drive from far and wide. These shaggy, horned, and mellow cows are even cuter in person.
